Hey everyone,

Just a quick post to make sure everyone knows i'm alright, and wasn't on the Kenya Airways flight you probably heard about.  I've had a few people send me messages, being that I'm the only American they know in Africa.  Rest assured, I'm just fine.

I'm currently in Moshi, Tanzania, trying to get a look at Mt. Kilimanjaro, but the clouds are really thick! The rainy season is in full effect. I'll likely head back up to Kenya tomorrow, via Mombasa on the coast, then head back to Nairobi for a day or two before heading to Cairo.  I actually do have some journal entries to post, but due to lousy internet connections in Tanzania, and some problems with my USB devices, I'm out of luck until I get back to Nairobi.  But be prepared for about 3-4 entries at once.

Oh, before I headed out of Nairobi, i posted a few more pictures on my shutterfly account.  You can access them from here.

Well, as of tomorrow (8th), I've been out of the US for 4 months, and have been through around 18 countries (I think), not including Antarctica. And 4 continents, including North America. Some day I'll add up the mileage...

Good to know, I thought about you when I heard that, but then I did a statistical analysis and you were about 1 in 22 million to be on that flight, and with a poker hand with those odds I was going all in you weren't on it.

Jeez, I'm just glad to know Arch's parents are finally getting some value out of that big time college education. Good to hear you're doing well Matt. And let me know as you head North and get ready to cross the Med, I'll alert my dad and make sure he's ready to roll out the carpet - and a bed. afe-risto (Greek for goodbye - no college credits wasted here!).

I wonder if A.J. Hawk and Maurice Clarett were in Arch's Swahili class?
